From Logic to Warmth: The Story Behind Dandust Crafting

From Logic to Warmth: The Story Behind Dandust Crafting

The Beginning

My mother has always been a creative woman. When I was little, almost everything I wore, such as sweaters, hats, and socks, was handmade by her. Even many things in our home were crafted with her hands. She loved crocheting and painting, and our home was filled with colors and warmth.
Growing up in that atmosphere, I naturally fell in love with making things by hand. I did not know back then that these gentle memories would one day guide me back to myself.

Reality and Turning Point

As I grew older, I chose a more practical path and studied engineering. It gave me stability, but it also slowly dulled my passion.
After moving to Canada, everything changed again. A new country, a new language, and a difficult job market brought me anxiety so strong that it affected my health. During that time, I began to realize something.
Maybe life is not meant to be lived entirely behind an office desk.
Maybe I could try a path that I truly love.

So I returned to handcrafting, just like my mother once did, and started creating my own world again.

The Spark Returns

I moved quickly. I built my brand, designed my logo, joined local markets, and began writing down ideas wherever I went. Inspiration came like a tide. Sometimes it was a color palette, sometimes the way light touched a piece of clay.
I love combining polymer clay, freshwater pearls, Czech glass, and silver. Each material has its own character, and together they find their balance. My works vary in tone, some soft, some bright, some calm, some playful. They may not follow one single style, but each piece is truly mine.

Now and Beyond

Dandust Crafting is more than a brand to me. It is a way to reconnect with the world and with myself.
Through creating, I found healing. Through my work, I hope to share that same quiet warmth with others.
This path may be harder than a regular job, but it finally feels right.
From my hands to yours, every piece carries a story.
